Position Title: Lead Appliance Service Technician 
  • Service Areas – Vail/Glenwood Springs and Aspen/Glenwood Springs

As an Appliance Repair Technician, you are a key member of our team responsible for the quality and efficient service, repair and  maintenance of appliances and other equipment. You also develop professional relationships with our customers by being the subject matter expert, educating them on use and best practices of operating appliances and by identifying opportunities to provide your expert services to additional home appliances. Exemplifying our code of values, you show respect and courtesy to all customers and employees. This position is right for you if you are self-motivated, have a knack for troubleshooting, enjoy being out in the community, love learning new technologies specific to home appliances, are able to manage time and are extremely resourceful in problems solving. Ideally, you have proven communication skills with supervisors, employees, and customers.

Specific Responsibilities:
  • Ability and desire to uphold all company policies and standards
  • Understand the operations and use of all home appliances/equipment
  • Accurately diagnose and repair appliances/equipment in the customer's home or business
  • Select and use the correct tools and/or instruments to assemble, adjust, calibrate, repair or test various products
  • Provide cost estimates for repairs/service and collect payment and/or payment information from customers for work performed
  • Ensure the efficient use, tracking and maintenance of tools and parts
  • Proper operation and upkeep of company vehicle 
  • Complete invoices, daily route sheets, and weekly reports as required
  • Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions
Job Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License with clean record
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Willingness and desire for continued learning and skill building
  • Neat, clean and organized in work habits, appearance and in maintaining all designated work spaces
  • Proficiency to navigate tablet based technology
  • Experience with hand tools, volt ohm meters and other instruments
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis, and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis without assistance and the physical ability to perform strenuous work under varied circumstances
  • Flexible and variable hours (no weekends)
  • Previous in-home appliance diagnosis and repair experience a plus
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team member
  • Experience with Refrigeration Systems a plus
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.

Compensation (DOE):
*   
$1000 - $1800 per week
*   Healthcare, PTO and a great work team.
