We work five days per week and provide a professional, stocked service van, technical training and support, iPad for handling research and work orders. We are not on call and we work indoors 99% of the time. We schedule enough time for proper diagnosis and customer service and our routes are logical and reasonable. Don't have appliance repair experience but have related experience like HVAC, automotive technician, electrician etc? Are you mechanically inclined and enjoy problem solving and helping customers? Appliance Service Technician Specific Responsibilities:

Accurately troubleshoot and repair appliances/equipment in the customer's home
Provide cost estimates for repairs and collect payment and/or payment information from customers for work performed
Insure the efficient use of materials and keep company vehicle and equipment properly serviced and inventoried
Perform other duties as needed

Appliance Service Technician Job Requirements:

Valid Driver's License with clean record
Must be at least 18 years of age
Proficiency to navigate tablet based technology
The ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis, and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis without assistance and the physical ability to perform strenuous work under varied circumstances
At least 1 – 2 years of appliance repair (or similar) experience preferred ie HVAC, commercial appliance, electronics repair, etc
Working mechanical knowledge, including the use of tools and test equipment and the ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics
Must complete all technician training courses within required time frames

Appliance Service Technician Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 100 pounds.
